This paper focuses on a differential voltage measurement in low-voltage automotive devices whose subunits are separated with low-side safety switch. In contrast to conventional applications high-side switches, common-mode (CMV) negative polarity exists at the input of signal conditioning circuitry. To overcome shortage dedicated integrated circuits capable withstanding CMV, investigates single- and two-stage single-supplied operational amplifiers find cost-optimized counterpart. addition, proposed procedure tunes circuit parameters such manner obtain largest possible full-scale range output. Though, optimization results very uncommon values for gain reference voltages. issue is additionally evaluated voltages that either cost-effective or more easily accessible increase feasibility. Since impact resistances circuits’ behaviour could be diminished great extent using high-precision matched pair resistors, sensitivity analysis was investigated only change. Furthermore, reversed termination measured simplified selection without hindering performance, proven by simulation experimental results.
